FAQs

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I don’t accept insurance. I provide forms that my patients can submit to an insurance company to obtain out-of-network reimbursement. I encourage current and prospective patients to call the number on the back of your insurance card to learn about your out-of-network benefits. The insurance company will need my address and the following CPT codes: 90792 for the first session, and 99213 and 90836 for follow up sessions (they will reimburse for both codes for a single session). Some workplaces offer a healthcare flexible spending account, which allows patients to use pre-tax dollars for treatment. I accept all major credit cards, flexible spending accounts, and Zelle for payment.

Please reach out to me to discuss my fees. In accordance with the “No Surprises Act” that went into effect January 1, 2022, you have the right to request a “Good Faith Estimate” of the expected cost of my services.

Do you offer video or phone sessions?

My preference is to see people in person. However, I do also offer initial evaluations and treatment over video. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform called doxy.me. I also offer phone sessions if needed, although these are normally not reimbursed by insurance.

How can I make an appointment?

You can make an appointment by calling 914-288-5944, emailing yl@yehudalereamd.com, or using the form on the contact page.

We will set up a time for a brief phone consultation. When we speak by phone, I will ask about what brings you to treatment, introduce myself and my practice, and answer any questions that you may have. If we decide to schedule an appointment, I will send you a link to Luminello, the secure electronic system I use for charting, billing, and communicating with patients. I will ask you to sign forms and upload demographic and billing information. Once this is complete, we will schedule your first appointment.
